    BAFANG Emergency Parts Kit

I was Emailing Eric earlier at Luna as i was ordering a new C10 display for my BAFANG BBSHD ( as the C965 took a hit and has a nasty bleed, [a plaster wont cut it] Back light works )
And suggested he put together a BAFANG emergency Kit of parts that tend to wear out or break

ie Reduction Gear, bearings , clutch and gasket.

and use his knowledge to put the right items in it.

As i live in the UK any parts i order takes 2-3 weeks to turn up
so this would be Ideal, getting me up and going quickly and i can then re- order at my leisure.

Eric said they had just been thinking the same thing.

    So A good Idea ?????

we were thinking rebuild kit....to replace all the wearable components in your bafang and even include some factory grease....

I put together all the parts currently available and it covers most problems. I've had two BBS for two years with a spare plastic gear, the one that's rumored to be weak, it still sits in my spares box.
BUT I figure it's good insurance. Here's my list for my next order. But it's missing axels. Click image for larger version

I'll probably go two gaskets since I have two BBSHD. I have a BBSHD tool I wish I'd have bought it right away and not purchased the bicycle tools. I'll never us them again. Off to the for sale page...

What a terrific idea for the BBSHD. Can there be a list for those of us who use the BBSO2?

            Thank you.

Perhaps add a display, throttle and controller?

I see that this is an old thread, but it seems like having a BBSHD "usual suspects" spare parts/rebuild kit is a good idea. Does anyone know of a shop that offers one? Or do you have a good list of parts required (in addition to those in the post above)?

If you add a motor core to that list (burned armature, snapped rotor spindle, etc.), you're getting close to the price of a spare bare motor.

Which, if you're relying on the bike for transportation/commuting, is perhaps the wiser path anyway.
