After I searched for a water bottle to fit the X-1 I decided to try the Fidlock with uni base. I have been using this water bottle holder for a week. So far it has stayed in place. I have a rear fender which does contact the bottle on big compressions. The best location for me is on the top tube. I have the 450 Deluex but believe any of the bottles would fit on the top tube.
