I got a Turner DHR I converted to a bafang bbdhd not sure of the term it the biggest mid drive motor bafang makes I got 2 52v batteries in parallel so it 40ah enough to ride 40 miles a ride at least I used to. one of my peddles some how came in contact with charge port an shorted out the plug then started to short out the plug then started to melt the insulation i got it stop I was ok for the day an rides after but I notice my battery performance was getting worse
when I used to ride 40 miles an then some now I cant go more then 25 mles then I die an have to walk it home I look at the battery now an my heat sink is melting away so I getting a heat problem over the bms now
where do I go from here is it my bms or or a bank of batteries
the batt recharges ok at least it is 56v now as I write this
