Hailong power switch issue

New Hailong battery has no mechanical power switch. I can’t tell whether is on or off. Try to connect the BBS02 and got sparkles every time. There’s a digital panel with lights and a power button but doesn’t seem to do much. The lights go on when I press the button but when I lift my finger they go off. Does anyone have any suggestions??

I can't see enough of the case to tell what version it is (Hailong 1, 2, or 3), but on my old. original Hailong 1 cases there is no power switch (always on), and that front 4-LED indicator panel indicates the charge level (left to right / low to high / more LEDs on the merrier) only when the button is depressed. If you want to know the battery voltage / polarity you'll need a electrical multimeter, then measure across the bottom connector pins. This video may help:
