Post a few pictures so we can see what you have. There may be a simple solution.

I assume this is the Jetson you have in this pic. You have to unscrew your side cover to remove it. Then your battery should look like the big square thing inside the oval looking case. Battery says HANI Energy technology along the bottom of the label in this pic. Disconnect the connector near the left bottom corner of the battery that has a red and black wire going to it. Probably press a little tab on the connector before pulling the connection apart. Then remove the 2 straps holding the battery in. If the battery doesn't slip out, it may be held in with double sided tape. Take care when pulling old battery out that it isn't pulling something else out with it. Installing your new battery is the reverse of all that. Before putting the cover back on, turn the power on while keeping an eye on the insides to make sure the bike turns on. Maybe you will have to charge the battery abit before the bike wakes up. Then if all powers up good, shut it off, make sure all wires are tucked in carefully, and close the cover back up. Then give the battery a full charge and remind your kid to watch out for cars in the street. :)

thanks for the feedback now here’s where my problem starts I upgraded to a battery that has 10 ah instead of 6 ah like the original battery that comes with the bike, the new battery has 14 awg wires with xt60 male connector the brushless controller has 16 awg also with xt60 connector.I also purchased a xt60 female to female extension can I just plug them in straight thru without any problem that’s where I got stuck n haven’t been able to find anyone with a answer everyone I asked has something different to say!!!

Yes connecting what you have should be fine. 10ah means your kids bike will run lots longer between charges. It has xt60 male connector. The controller should have a female xt60 connector that connected to the old 6ah male xt60 connector. So I dont know why you need a female to female extention. Just make sure the red wire of the new battery is connecting to the same controller wire as the red wire of the old battery. If they dont then the new battery is wired different and needs to be fixed. A picture of all that would help in double checking what you actually have.

Thanks for the pic. There's alot more going on here than what I had a mental picture of. I'm not sure why you had to pull the controller out, but I hope you can get it all back in there. It looks like the controller also has a male xt60 connector so I wasn't expecting that. Its no wonder you have a female to female cable. Its hard to see polarity in the picture but it looks like it will be right when you plug the extension in to make all the connections. Make sure when battery is ready to plug in that the red battery will connect to the red controller wire. Don't plug it in if you are sure it wont plug in like that. Even if the bike is off, it is harmful to connect the battery wires reversed. Red wire battery can never touch black wire controller. That is the key here. Also, before you plug wires in, make sure you are satisfied that all the new stuff you have will fit inside the oval box you opened up. There doesn't seem to me to be alot of extra room in there. The holding straps may not even fit. In that case you may have to be prepared to make some adjustments to make a fit possible.

As for the extra red/black battery wires, the questionable connector condition, and that extra part that appears to be in distress, I hope that's not more trouble to this plan. The picture in this area is not clear.

ID:	160497 The female to female extension is a 12awg wire that’s not a problem is it since battery wires are 14 awg and controller 16 awg there’s a whole lot of different size awg wires going on I just don’t want anything harmful to happen to my daughter although I did order some xt60 female connectors that way I can just add one to the extra pigtail i got with the new battery since that wire is also 14 awg!now why the controller and battery has both male xt60 plugs idk I bought the battery and they had the wrong connectors on as to the original battery from Jetson has the correct plugs

Nope, mixing wire size like that on a tiny bike is no sweat. Especially with such a short little length. That bike will not be able to pull anywhere near the full extent of what those batteries can put out. But the bike will benefit 100% from the extra run time. Just dont be pinching wires when you screw it back together. Use wire ties to bundle out of the way if you have too. I have opened volt meters to replace batteries to find the battery wire pinched nearly in half from the screw down point. It happens all the time in everything including straight from the factory.
