I have my front headlights hardwired to my 52 V battery because they take multiple types of voltage. I have the same positive and negative lead at 52 V leading all the way to my rear lights which meets a voltage reducer which reduces the 52 V to 12 V for my rear lights which are just basic harbor freight trailer lights.
Since installing a new controller yesterday my rear lights are not working because I rewired most of my system. Now the rear lights are not working but I have no idea how to test if there was power from the battery to the voltage reducer because all I have is a 12 V battery tester. I do have a multi meter but I have no idea what setting to put it on to test at a higher voltage past 12 V
