    Battery Conection problem

Hello there, I just installed Smart Pie V5. I have Panasonic Mighty mini 52v 7ah battery. Battery now fully charged. However, I do not understand how to connect battery to the two (red and Black bare wires) from the motor. The kit came with some other yellow connectors, no clue how they help. Does anybody know what I am not understanding? A coloured diagram would be a big help.
I hope I have made myself clear, looking forward to replies.
    Tony.

Take a look at this and see if it might answer your question.

We always recommend that when you buy any ebike kit, you get the major components (controller, motor, and throttle) all from the same vendor (also, buy a spare throttle). That way the connectors wi…

Thanks for the help. I have little wiring skill. I assumed when I purchased the kit that the wires would be plug in and go, like when charging the battery. Hmm Im going have to do some thinking.
      Thanks again.

tony, don't think about it to much. It's easy. That article shows it well. Get the things you need and just do it. I just changed a BMS that failed on my shark battery. I got help from an article. How To Swap Out A BMS On A Frame Pack … Lickity Split | ElectricBike-Blog.com and from Seb on the support team at Lunacycles. They sent me a new bms. It's spooky if you haven't done any soldering, but with a little practice on some non energized wire, it's straight forward. 2 solder joints! Get that thing going! Changing a bms was 3 solder joints. Just received the XT 90 I was waiting on ( I was shipped the wrong one originally). I decided to go with butt splice (which I also have never done before) and it worked! Trouble is now battery is fully charged according to battery and charger. However the display says its empty and nothing happens when I hit the throttle. Display is on and throttle has all three lights on. Any thoughts? i will definitely post pic as soon as I get this technicality out of the way. Can not wait to get going.
