How dose the math go . I want to build a 72v battery pack. i know that i need 20 battery 3.7v but how do you add up the figure out the amps 3500 per cell

# of batteries in series gives you the voltage.
# series in parallel times amperage of one series gives you total amperage.
For example:1 series = 20 batteries * 3.7V = 74V at 3500 mAmps.
5 Series would be 5 * 3500 mAmps = 17500 mAmps at 74V.
So, you would need 5 series of 20 batteries, 100 total batteries, to give you a 74V 17.5Ah battery pack.
