      For what product?

Hey paxtana, wondering if this issue is fixable on my end while Seb is currently on vacation. While disconnected from charger, the display turns on but throttle and pas just barely move the motor despite high voltage sag read on display. Motor only gets full power while connected to charger, multi meter showing 56.1 volts on battery. This is on a 2018 KHS 3000 fusion, trouble ticket invoice #75276. I included some videos to better describe what’s happening. Unfortunately I don’t have a spare battery to test and see if the problem is coming solely from the fusion pack.

Do you see same issue if you bypass the battery completely as described in troubleshooting video in knowledge base

I don’t get the same issue when I bypass the battery, wiring directly to the male xT90 to the charger the motor gets power when throttle is engaged. I also get power to the motor when the charger is plugged into the charge port on the battery. The issue only occurs when the motor is only connected by the pack. Multimeter tests 56v at the charge and discharge ports on the fusion pack.

Glad you narrowed it down. Was the battery dead and not charging due to the adapter?
    Yep, that was the problem...

      1st time charge - I have a LUNA CHARGER 52V Advanced 300W charging my LUNA FUSION WOLF 52V 13.5AH (1st time to 100%)
WILL THE CHARGER SHUT DOWN AUTOMATICALLY?

It will stop the charge when it gets to the selected percentage. The charger does not "shut down" though. It will continue showing the battery voltage if plugged into the battery, or the output voltage if only plugged into the wall outlet.

Anybody know when Luna will have the BBS02 back in stock?

Error 30 is a comunications fault, between the display and the motor controller.

I'd check if one of the five, very tiny contact pins bent, in the main harness cable (the connector you unplugged).

That would also be my first guess. Alternately if it was from like 5 months ago then it might be the firmware, we did have a firmware we were using between now and when Bafang started to ship with weird new firmware settings. Our firmware fixed their main issues when we added hotrod but if you reprogrammed it might throw error 30. This is all speculation and might entirely depend upon whether or not how old it is and whether or not you did anything else to it while you were programming it, for example accidentally shorting it or pulling a connector partway out.

      Good Day

Hope you are good, i am from south africa, is there any form or video that shows me to steps to making a bafang connector cable to reprogram the motor.

      hope you can help me

Hello again just wondering if you can help me.
I purchased the asi bac 800 72v version from you guys and have been trying to connect to the Bluetooth module.
However when i download the asi BacDoor app to connect to it, I get met with a message saying i need credentials to login to the controller and the app.
Am i missing something here? as i tried to get the credentials from asi systems website and they point blank refuse to give me details.
So i am here basically asking could you please provide me with a way to connect with my Bluetooth module on my asi controller

The controllers are locked down and not programmable, they are only intended for the motor type and power level they were custom programmed for, I believe this is also noted on the listing.

If it was not locked down anyone could copy those settings and resell it, and it cost Luna tens of thousands of dollars in development fees to develop so it's not something the shop wants to essentially give out.

If my 36-72v controller is rated @ 40amp continuous and 60amp peak, is a 72v 8.6Ah 40/80amp battery enough for the correct amp maching, or do I use a 72v 12.9Ah 60/120amp battery for the correct pairing?

The 40/80 amp battery should be enough for that controller. But if you want to upgrade in the future i'd go with the 60/120amp BMS

The charge port on my shark pack battery is done for, my kid tried cleaning it out with a nail... Anybody know where I could get a replacement charge port instead of replacing the entire battery?

Sorry, I do not believe we have the answer to this question. However it should be worth noting that unlike gasoline engines, larger electric motors does not mean more power. Power comes from the controller/battery. A larger electric motor would just mean it can handle higher power better without burning out

Just to add - it's the fact that it's water cooled that will allow more power. The current motor will blow due to excessive heat above 7kw.

The larger the motor the more thermal mass you have to soak up that heat, but sure if a motor has an improved way to shed heat then it would also be able to handle higher power. That said I do not agree 7kw would burn up the stock motor. We have run them at much higher power levels than that.

well that kinda sucks :( i was wanting to have a mess about with some settings as i am using different chain wheel ratios to you guys.
Ie I wanted to customize it to my own needs as my crank chain wheel is a lot smaller than your default one that was sent with my kit.
So basically you are telling me i bought a controller with no means of adjusting it ever ?.

if that is the case it would have been better to grab myself a PhaseRunner or sabvoton and i know where to go for my next one.

Hi there, probably a few weeks on that since that's when next big shipment is coming in, can't promise it will be in there with the rest of the parts but it should.

Apocalypse scooter last 58v version in need of a new front hub motor (cracked) and brakes . Any leads on parts or where to inquire about getting them?
