Received and tested my new Low and Fatty Wolf with Ludicrous. So far it's incredible and I'm super excited to go for more rides!
What I'm looking for at this time is:
--Kickstand (the local bike shop couldn't figure out how to find one that fits on KHS' website)
--Chain guard for this bike (the part closest to the pedal is a Luna part) - the chain already came off a couple times and the long pants I was wearing that day are my primary suspect. I could tie something around my pants but a chain guard is preferred.
Are these available and if so would you be able to point me in the right direction?
Lastly, while we're discussing, does Luna happen to have any recommendations for a quality hidden GPS tracker (in case the bike is stolen) and/or a quality motion sensor alarm? I know this question is unrelated to the Luna and KHS designs. I wanted to ask just in case you knew because I've been having trouble finding quality products online due to the challenges of discerning a quality product from a low-cost-about-to-fail product on sites like Ebay. The price points I've found so far seem to be too low to be realistic. If you don't know, just disregard.

We will be restocking the peg leg stand if that works. Should have it in the coming weeks.
There's not a chain guard specifically for BBSHD. You may be able to fabricate something custom depending on your skillset. Here is an example of a guard someone modded that happened to be included with that particular bike. Unfortunately the KHS bike that the Low is based off of does not have a stock guard so you would need to fabricate something from scratch.

Post #19 in my bike build only available from Rose Cycles in Germany that I found when I was looking came by recommendation from a member here when we saw it in their build. Sorry my memory is not what it used to be I wish I could give that member credit it truly was his information on this kickstand that made me want one. There is an excise tax from the EU that is waved if your order is above a certain amount. Ordering this kickstand on its own does not put you above that amount. Just something to be aware of. https://electricbike.com/forum/forum...the-brut/page2

Thanks for the info! I think this gives a good idea of the options. I will sit on it for a couple days and decide which kickstand to go with.
For the chain guard, I'll go with the ankle straps the local bike shop offers for now and maybe check back at some point in the long-term future to see if one ends up being developed for the BBSHD.

New Sur Ron x here, love it! My son was riding and parked it on the lawn to come in for lunch and the sprinklers came on and got the bike wet. After that the throttle stopped working. The battery appears to power up fine, as does the bike and lcd. But nothing happens when you turn the throttle. I have cycled the circuit breaker. Removed and reinserted the battery and still no dice. Can someone help me know what next steps are to diagnose the issue?

(filedata/fetch?id=147594&d=1644427658) NOTE: If you bike is new, make sure to read the unboxing article before read this (https://electricbike.com/forum/forum/knowledge-base/surron/55116-sur-ron-lightbee-documentation-specs-unboxing-and-initial-setup) Besides the wrenches and Hex keys you need to maintain your
I would start with disabling ebrakes and the kickstand cutoff sensor, then go from there.

Hey a couple problems. I need some help please. Thanks in advance.
This is for the Sur Ron X i just received Friday.
So
1. My bottom braket for the pedal kit just totally unscrewed while riding. Not from the bike. But the crankset/bottom bracket came unscrewed from within the housing. And its hanging loose now. I have to figure out how to get the tool to rescrew the crackset back on. Does anyone know which tool I need for that? Also is this going to be an issue? Was it just now screwed in tight enough by the factory? I got the pedal kit installed from Luna.
2. Its top speed is 32. And i cant find any green and black wire to cut. I looked around theres just no green and black wire. Are the bikes coming without it now? I cant tell if 32 is the real top speed or if the top speed is less because of the pedal kit. It kinda looks like they installed a bigger back sprocket when they put the pedal kit on. Is that where the loss of top speed is? Cause they included a smaller sprocket in the box. Is that the original sprocket? Because im seeing some people say they are getting 32mph on the 60 tooth sprocket.
Thanks guys. Ill be back in a bit to answer any questions anyone has.
Edit: doing some research. Looks like the Sur Ron X is supposed to come with the 42 tooth sprocket. But with the pedal kit installed it comes with a 48 tooth sprocket. That explains the low top speed of 32mph. Can someone confirm that the Sur Ron X with the 48 tooth pedal kit top speed should be 32? Or should i still be looking for the green and black wire to cut?
Also, I found out that either Luna or the manufacturer fucked up when they installed the pedal kit. Apparently the locking collar ring was not tightened down.
You can read about someone else with the same problem here and how to fix it. Since i bought the bike 4 days ago and I live down the street from Luna im going to see if they can fix it for me. But if they cant then here is the instructions on how to fix it. https://sur-ron.markkitaoka.com/peda...6d#comment-160
Still, does anyone know the tool I need to reattach this? In case luna does not fix it. I already contacted support about the repair. I just need some help incase they do not want to fix this.
In case anyone in support is reading this, my order number is 83743. And my support claim is 163448.
Best,
Ari

The pedal kit can be easily serviced with not much more than a screwdriver and hammer. See this video.
The pedal kit is installed with 48t, speed should be same as stock. You do not want to install that smaller sprocket, it will lug the motor. The green/black wire is on all Surron bikes but it can be a bit tucked beneath that black shrink that you see in the picture below. Yes you need to join or cut the wire depending on which model you got.

Alright thanks paxtana. Appreciate the help. Ill look for that stuff in the morning

Hi I’m new to here.
I’m Greg Parr. I have a used Luna Apocalypse v2. The controller won’t light up or start scooter. Am hoping for a replacement & instructions. Also, The stupid rubber plug just got stuck in the charging hole & I can’t get it out. Suggestions. & is there anyone you may recommend in NYC for service?

Hello there Greg, it is probably the display that went out. You may want to contact our support lead technician Seb regarding buying a replacement. Email support@lunacycle.com attn:seb
The plug should be pretty easy to get out. I don't know what tools you have on hand but you could probably use the plastic pry tools from a spudger kit if you have one.

If so, do the holes in the motor appear to line up with the above plate? If so, try threading the two screws into the motor directly - if they won't, perhaps the motor screw threads are missing.
