I want to replace the stock BBSHD 46T chainring with a 42T with close to the same offset (stock chainring is 19 mm). But I can’t find the Lekkie 42T that is supposed to have 20.4 mm offset. Is that no longer in stock?
Have been looking at the “BBSHD Chainring Offset Guide”.

It is autohidden until restocked. Probably a month or two from now we will have more. Lekkie takes forever to build those things.

Eclipse in 42t is in stock though. Use a chainring spacer to back it off if needed.

It looks like the chainring BBSHD spacers are out of stock.

Are BBSHD Chainring spacers out of stock?

      Comment

Yes, they are out of stock. You could make a spacer out of washers though, if you want. Ideally using clipped washers, though you can grind down standard washers as shown below. In the second picture it was hot glued to the underside of the chainring.

      Hi Luna,

I would still like an answer to the polymer plastic type on the casing. thanks!

Sorry, I can not get that information. I would assume something like HDPE since that is less likely to have any reaction with the potting, but this is just a guess.

BBS02 motor. Today, the pedal assist mode stopped working. I got no power. The pedaling felt like power was starting/stopping, as it was not smooth. It never registered any Watts on the color display. However, the throttle worked fine, and pedaling was perfectly smooth with the throttle engaged.

This is more of less what the disc looks like.

This particular one is for bbshd but same idea. I think Cali ebike has a bbs02 disc if you need one.

i don't see the part on luna or cali ebike for the BBS02. I'll keep looking. Strange how it would die from me opening up the motor. Perhaps it's just a loose wire. It's not one of the Green, Red, Yellow, but the connector plug?

It's the black plug. Looks like this. Also check the pas ring and the pas board, but I would say the most likely cause from opening it up would be if the connector was plugged in only partway and worked itself loose from vibration.

Hi, I think I saw somewhere on reddit that you sell the frame of the Luna Banana without the complete build. Is this still true?

We have in the past, when demand for the prebuilt bike was low, like during winter. This is not something we are offering at this time due to high demand for the fully built bike. Coast cycles sells the bare frame if you need it.

ok have spoke with Joel 3 times now voltage checks etc ..... battery wont charge past 60 % tried 2 24hour periods in the last few days...... i need a New battery or BMS board or charger ASAP this is gettin old

Probably best that you email support@lunacycle.com with your order# and a summary of the issue, spreading out a complex support request across multiple support channels is a good way to get frustrated because we have no reference to the stuff that has already been tried.

      Hi,

What crank arms would be compatible with this double freewheel chainring set for mid drive? I can't seem to find any on the lunacycle shop.

Would this freewheel fit with the BB of the following bike (68-73mm)?

Hi there! I'm buying the Luna Charger 48V Advanced 300W Ebike Charger.
My question is if Luna Cycle has the ability to ship it with the XLR 4-Pin (not 3 pin, 4 pins) connector?
      I have a 2017 izip Zuma ebike.

Thanks in advance for your help! And thanks for making a great charger!

You would probably need to rewire it to a compatible connector to match the bike you have, we can not offer that level of customization sorry. If you already have a charger with this connector you can cut it off and wire it up in place of the xt60

I have a Killer Whale battery. Are replacement battery mounts available anywhere? This would be the base wired to the motor that the battery slides and locks into.

Sorry we don't have extra mounts..

I purchased a BBSHD with bottom bracket size 73-100mm (Fat), and the bottom bracket of my bicycle is 68mm (I thought it was larger).

I'm confused if I need 5mm of spacers or if I need 32mm of spacers. Can you refer me to the correct product to purchase on luna?

Can I fit two throttles to a BBSHD? I see there is an extra yellow connector, but I want to be sure it will read a second one before I order another.

Don't think this is possible. You might be confusing the extra yellow connector for a Gear Sensor.

Just want to confirm before purchase - I have a BBS-HD 50W Luna SN 1702148190 kit which is installed on a coast cycles ruckus/buzzraw.

Will this work with the new mighty mini display?

Yes? Assuming it's an actual Luna kit/motor, it should be compatible with all of the BBSxx displays.

How do you change the settings on the Luna 860C

Still working on a guide. However the 860C performs practically the same way as all of the other displays, including the 500C so you can pretty much reference any previous guide for them and follow the same settings/steps to operate it.
