    Hi Luna,

I have the 52V direwolf, and I'm trying to wire up some accessory lighting @ 52V. Is it safe and reasonable to use both the XT90 ports at the same time (ie. one for the motor controller and one for the independent lighting? Thanks,

    Justin

Good question. Yes you can do that with the backup xt90 discharge port.

Just don't use the xt60 charge ports to discharge!

Have you checked the adapter? That is a common cause and I would highly recommend checking it. There is a guide on how to do that in charger knowledge base on this forum

    Hello,

Can a Sur-Ron be purchased without a battery and/or controller?
Sorry if this has been asked already.

Nope sorry. Shop does not want to part out perfectly good bikes to sell parts without good reason when the full bikes are in such high demand. Sometimes we got a bike that gets parted out for some other reason but at the moment there are none.

Spose you could buy a bike and just resell the battery. Plenty of folks on the surron owners group would probably be happy to buy it off you.

We are going to need a good deal more info than that. What kind of motor, order number, what was happening prior to the issue, what you have tried

48vbatterie 1000w hub motor.. it did this once before but I took the batterie off charged it and put it back on and it worked since then I've had no troubles except it sparks when i plug it up..i know i got to get a connector piece for that. But my friend rose it last night and it stopped working on him, he weighs more that I do. And now the throttle gets power but the wheel doesn't work when I turn the throttle.. I'll send you the order number in a min but it's a voltmort motor

Oh..this thread is only for asking about support for parts bought from Luna, not from elsewhere..you can make a separate thread about it and maybe get some help, or contact the seller if they actually support it. At a guess I would say your friend may have burned out the motor if he's really fat. If so smell the motor, burned up motor smells distinctly burnt

This is the order number :19-03696-11517

If someone with a Bafang BBS02 unit gets an error 30, does anyone have a better way to troubleshoot this yet? Let's say for example they only have their bike and no additional parts to swap out and try. (although I know it is highly recommended to have a second kit) Is there a way to tell if it is the controller, display, or wiring harness prior to ordering these parts? This way, if this person has no additional kit, they would only have to order one part instead of three.

there are things you can rule out if you check out the knowledge base regarding error codes and troubleshooting for this motor

Hi, I looked in the manual https://www.electricbike.com/manuals...0w-manual.html and found 'System Cabling. I didn't find a wiring schematic for the controls, motor or the 52v Dire Wolf. Just want to get the overview. Specifically, there is a cable that has 4 pigtails. I plugged the display into one and the pedal assist control into another. What are the other 2 used for? On the battery, there are 2 types of ports, main power and charging. What can the extra ports be used for? Which is best for lighting?

      Thanks.

The other two are for optional e-brakes you don't need it.

The extra ports are for backups. In case one of the ports gets burnt out or something you have another you can plug into. But yes on the xt 90, the larger port you could plug lights into the other xt90

I recently received my new X1, and am having trouble just getting it going. I unpacked everything (missing manual?), assembled all, and connected the green to green, yellow to yellow, etc. However, no matter how I hold the on/off button - nothing happens. I have charged overnight, batter lights up green when touched, and even tried overnight removing batter -- yet when I install on bike, nothing ....
Is the controller bad? any help is appreciated, I just want it to work.. (order#80074)

Hmm...they are tested before shipping, so presumably something happened in shipment. If it just arrived I would contact FedEx and tell them you refuse shipment due to damage. Even if you don't see damage if they will let you refuse shipment this will be by far the easiest way to get it back to us so we can handle it, whether that be exchanging, inspecting/repairing (more likely since all the ones we have shipped at least for next couple weeks) or refunding.

I'm looking for a chain ring and related parts for a Bafang Ultra. Hill climbing without phsyical exertion is my goal. I have Bafang cranks. Suggestions?

Hi guys. I have about 80 miles on my Giant Talon with cyclone/asibac 800/72v/isis bb and crank. Ive been having a blast but my last ride ended when I noticed that the chainring was eating into the chain stay pretty badly.
It turns out that the culprit is the isis bottom bracket as the spindle slides back and forth inside. When it pull toward the non drive side it pulls the chainring right into the chainstay. What can I do? Do I need to buy a new BB? I bought this kit from Luna about 33 days ago. Thanks for any insight.

Does not sound like it was installed properly. When installed correctly the spindle should not move.

Could you elaborate? It ran perfectly for 80 miles and I cant see anywhere in the installation where the bb could be installed incorrectly besides maybe backwards What should I look at? The spindle doesnt slide around freely it has to be pulled or pushed and It's only a small amount maybe a half inch. When the sprocket was digging into the chainstay I just used the palm of my hand to jab at the non drive side and it pushed it back where it should be. I'm willing to buy a new one if I have to but hoping not to. Thanks

          No.... Read the thread...

"All the other spindles, both ISIS and Square Taper, have adjustable bearings. They are adjustable with the proper tools, like a hammer, a piece of steel tubing, and a gear puller. The gear puller is used if the bearing needs to be moved further out, for use with larger Bottom Brackets. The hammer and tubing are used if the bearing needs to be moved further in, for use with smaller Bottom Brackets."

        Thanks pax
