Hi, can anyone tell me the current process to update firmware for my BBSHD Ludi 2 Controller? I got it in April 2021, but due to various issues didn't build the bike and install it until now. Do I still need to use an Android device to update the firmware? The link to the BBSHD Ludi V2 Android app on this thread is down (https://electricbike.com/forum/forum...documentation/).

I have VESC on my Windows laptop and also on my iPhone since I recently bought an X2 with M600 Ludi 2 motor, but it's not clear whether I can use IOS app to connect to my BBSHD Ludi V2 with old firmware. I was told I could n

I wouldn't even need it, since it works well at 52 V with the default settings, but I have a 72V battery and eggrider display I want to hookup, but haven't updated the firmware on the BBSHD Ludi V2 yet.

    Thanks

Hi, I would love some help with my Luna Stealth.

my bike was starting to feel a little 'crunchy' while peddling, and then after a few days, the motor won't really peddle while powered anymore, it just 'clunks' and gets kinda stuck.

alarmed, I took it apart to look at the gearbox. and low and behold, I see little bits of blue plastic on the metal gear on the motor side. see attached picture. you can see tiny bits of blue teeth from the gear box.

I assume what I need to do here is to order a new gearbox, put it back together and it should be good?

Thanks for any and all advice from the group! (and hoping Luna will sell me a new gearbox!)

Can someone provide instruction on how to tighten the belt (not the chain) on the talaria xxx?

I cannot remove my rear tire from my surron x. I may have even stripped the lug nut. Does anyone know any tricks or way I can take it off without damaging my bike in the process

Take it to a powersports shop and have a professional do it?

I recently purchased a Talaria Sting MX4 about three months ago and have done 450 miles on it. The rear brake lever has gone soft and so I followed the online threads for spongy brakes, but it did not solve the issue. It got better, but the lever does not return to the starting position after pulling it in. Also, the brakes did not really grab that well. I then found that only one of the pistons is actually engaging and the other three are stuck. I have tried putting some mineral oil around them to see if they would loosen and apply hydraulic line pressure, but they do not extend out. What can I do to solve this? Is this a defect in the brakes from Talaria and is there some sort of warranty? Thank you.

Please email us attn:seb and include order# and a summary of what was attempted. If it was only burped you might need to try a full bleed and to push the piston(s) back into position with a flatblade screwdriver but Seb will be able to help determine best course of action.

Hello good afternoon. I'm completely new to lithium batteries. I have a Fantic ebike that uses a Brose engine and a 626wh battery, 36v and 17.4Ah. However, I would like to use an extra non-original, lower capacity battery, which I have not yet purchased. I intend to use it in a NOT parallel way, that is, like the original, for longer trips where there is no way to recharge the original battery. I saw some topics about the Rosenberg brand magnetic connector which could be connected to the cable of a 36V generic battery, my question is: As the Rosenberg connector has 6 (wires), what would be the best BMS to distribute these specific loads to connect that extra battery to the Brose engine cable plug? Thanks in advance for your patience, and thanks for reading this question.

Are you sure your controller even really uses those extra communication wires on the rosenberger connector? Rosenberger just has those there in case a manufacturer wants to use them but that does not mean they are actually in use. Might make sense to wire up a rosenberger pigtail to a power supply, a charger, or some other 36v nominal power source and see if you can power on the bike with just positive and negative.

          Hi Paxtana,
Great idea, I'll check this out before making any decision. Thanks for the guidance.

          You're welcome!

Can't seem to find a new Front Axle Cap (AKA set bolt) for the Talaria XXX in stock anywhere. Any suggestions? Is it safe to ride without the cap?

I am referring to part 10 here: https://ebikezilla.com/en/spareparts/970008-fork

Which fork brand do you have

The cap is not actually the part that holds it from sliding out, the pinch bolts do that, but it would not be a great idea usually to ride while missing axle parts.

About six months ago, i discovered that my surron throttle wasn't responding, keyed on display lit but no motor. Despite trying various troubleshooting steps such as checking cutoffs, using the diagnostic cable, and even replacing the throttle itself, the issue persisted. However, during the process, i noticed that after having the bike keyed on for five minutes, the throttle started working and the bike functioned almost perfectly, albeit with occasional brief cutouts during the first mile of a ride maybe only once maybe three or four at worst. I have continued to try and figure out but it was dependable so I continued to use it daily.

Recently, the problem reached a new level of severity, as the throttle completely stopped working. Interestingly, this occurred on a day that was unexpectedly 30 degrees colder than usual and during thunderstorms.

Any help will be very appreciated. Thank you in advance.

It would help to know what kind of bike you have

Surron! Sorry about the obvious omission, it is a surron x with electronic throttle.

Thanks for the help. I went through everything, and after I reassembled the bike it worked. No waiting keyed on the throttle responded. I test rode it and through out the morning tested it several times.
But, later in the afternoon it was back to no go. Now it does nothing. I am ready to give up. I live in western Colorado and I'm looking for a technician today... I really don't get along with electric.
If you have anymore info please advise.

Please email support@lunacycle.com attn:seb, he can probably figure it out. If it started to work again temporarily seems like it is almost certainly something loose but Seb's a technician and a specialist at troubleshooting

I think I can put some turn signals onto my segway X260 if I can find a handy 12 volt source wire that I can splice into. Also I guess I can ground to the frame nearly anywhere that's metal, yeah?
