From the product reviews, "One other thing to note about this connection is that its limited to 60v so don't use anything above a 52v battery or you'll fry the wires".
FYI I use an on/off switch in my 5V Ignition+ circuit and my battery drains slowly while my bike sits unused. My fully charged battery is 83.7V, but after sitting for 24 hours the battery measures only 82.9V. After another 24 hours, the battery measures 82.7V. I just wanted to know the specific voltage range the device functions within. I saw the amps where good for my poject. the switch should have some specs hopefully :)

Hello,
I just purchased the Golden Pie V5 kit for the rear on my Trek mountain bike. With it I purchased a 60V 20aH battery pack. Before I power everything up I'm concerned now that I might be in danger of overloading the controller. Right now, my battery pack shows 62.9V on my multimeter and I was under the assumption that the controller is safe up to 60V. Just looking for some input as to whether this setup will work. commuter ebikes, pie motors use integrated controller. Aftermarket controllers are not available that integrate.
Shawn, a 60v pack will likely fry that controller if it works at all. It may have a high voltage cutoff in program settings if I recall.

I want to buy one of your 60V packs please. I see the GA's are not in stock. I really would prefer the GA's i think. Joel, the very GOOD and very NICE online dude who helped me make the choice, said to email here and ask when they will be available for me to buy. I also need to know the price difference between them and the PF pack??? I cannot see it online. IF the GA's are out for a while, Joel said to buy the PF's. Being new to this, i am not really sure whether I should wait on the GA pack, or just buy the PF's you have in stock???

The Cyclone 3000w finally in stock and i ran into confusion when picking out. Before they had 55 or 50 amp controller (i forget which one but bigger then the 40 amp). I was told before the 40 amp would let me have pedal assist but this new 60 amp controller will that let me have that too? I have a 60v 20ah battery if that helps.
EDIT: Went back and saw where someone asked about amp. Someone replied to it saying the 50 amp was Kelly controller and pedal assist doesn't work on Kelly. This new 60amp doesn't say Kelly so would that mean it can use the pedal assist? Also it says bluetooth and not sure what that's for.Last edited by Valmek; 10-28-2017, 07:22 PM.

One more thing, is there any other besides the Batt Man to show how much charge I have? Just rather not spend that much for it if there might be an alternative.

Personally I use BBSHD but it is my understanding that with the cyclone bluetooth controller it displays all that battery info in the app on your phone.
It is shown on the youtube video in the first couple minutes, the video embedded at the bottom of the controller listing.
While it won't be as comprehensive as a batt-man it should be fine.
Looks to be displaying both the actual voltage as well as this number expressed as charge percentage.

I have a BBS02 kit on the way from Luna-mate. The plan was originally to fit it to my little commuter bike (a carbon rigid 26er hardtail running a 1x9 Shimano SLX drivetrain), but this morning I took my 2014 Giant Anthem 26er to the office and realised that it would make such a cool commuter if I rather fit the BBS02 to it.
I was planning on selling the 26er Anthem because I replaced it with a 27.5 Anthem a couple of months ago. But after this morning I'm thinking I'll rather flog the carbon rigid and keep the Anthem 26er.
A bit of reading dashed my hopes though with everyone saying that the BBS02 won't fit my Anthem's bb. And then I saw you guys sold the Giant Stride with a BBS02. I also came across a comment by Paxtana on 8/8/2017 mentioning that one might be able to shave 1mm off each side of the bb which may facilitate fitting the BBS02.
So my questions are: How do you guys make the BBS02 fit a Giant Stride's BB? And also if it is possible to "shave" the Anthem's bb, what would be the best way to do that? Engineering shop/Angle grinder and prayer? (and once done what adaptors or spacers would be required?)

Need some suggestions, 68 & crusher 3 ludicrious on the way. Will be riding for fun, transportstion on the road. Bike comes with beautiful mb tires but advisors suggesting to change to lower weight and improve handling. Want tires at least as good as as original. Lost in the tube, tubeless world and so much talent out here figured i could get some great advice...thanks. patrick

I have the luna 52V advanced charger. Charging the battery for the second ride I setup at 4amp and 100% charge on a battery previously charged to 80% to get ready for riding the next day. I plugged in the changer and it showed about 56V and then plugged in the battery and the changer showed a green line and less than 1amp current (because the battery was near full). A short time later when I looked the charger screen was black and there was no red or green indicator light (the first time I charged the red light triggered when the battery was changed). I unplugged the 52V battery and tested it at 55.7V (it was 56V after the first 100% charge). A couple hours later I tried plugging the controller back into the outlet to see if it would reset and the red display came on showing about 3.5V rather than normal 56V. I unplugged and tried a couple more times and after that the red display has never come back on. All this happened on the second use of the changer. The manual that came with the changer mentioned extra fuses but I don't see an accessible fuse junction. Please help I would like to change up the battery to 80% for storage.

I measured the BB width as best I could with the cranks still attached and it looks to be 85mm wide. I have a set of Shimano BB71 cups pressed in there at the moment.

Hi there,
I bought a 52v shark pack from Luna last year along with a Cycle Satiator to charge it with. A few days ago I would get an error message when I'm trying to charge the battery.
PWR fault: restart.
Before this message, it would rapidly show different voltages, as if it can't get a proper reading. I have a newer (GA) pack that doesn't have this error, so it has to be a problem with the older pack.
Is there anything I can do to fix this?

ykick It seems to be charging at 1 amp. It used to be fine with 5, but I used 3 for the most part. It now has a weird temp glitch though. Must be the BMS. Is there any way to troubleshoot and repair it? Definitely something wrong with it.

Please explain the temp glitch? Have you been charging to 100% voltage 58.8V and allowing time for the pack to balance?
Can't say yet what it "must" be. Satiator can do some weird things but we need to know if the pack is balanced or not?

It will fluctuate wildly between positive and negative temps. Then it will stop at the correct temp for a few seconds before going off again.
I was trying to charge to 100% when all of this happened. My other pack charged fine to 100%, so something must be off with this one.
I tried to post a photo of the error to this comment, but it created a new post on the next page.
