The new headlight is always on unfortunately. there is no switch on the back. But it's 12V so it's easy to find a swtich on amazon for ATV's or motorcycles. something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Hanperal-Moto..._&dpSrc=detail

As I wrote previously I love my Roam Fusion but was having trouble with the gear sensor. I opened it up, pryed it open as suggested here and serviced it. Still not working. Can I order a replacement from Luna? What other parts/cables will I need? I currently have the stock sensor model: LL-SS-01. Thank you - Tony

Is there an amateur friendly way ( minimizing any possibility that I will break my battery) for me to hardwire a light to my- battery -xt90 - BBSHD setup.
I I could not find any male to 2 female xt90s y connectors online.

Easiest approach would be to use the dpc18 display and a USB light plugged into the display's USB port.
If you want to wire into discharge directly for some reason like running a more high power light easiest way is to use "tap" connectors. There are several variations on the market. For example posi-tap

Is it possible to order the Cyclone kit with two sets of mounting hardware and BB's - for 68-83mm and 120mm? I'd like to compare installation on two frames.
I see that I can order the 120mm BB separately, but I'd like to get the mounting plate/hardware for both 68-83mm and 120mm.
Thanks

What is the part number for the controller that comes with the 7500Watt Cyclone?
I couldn't find it on the Lunacycle kits page.
Kelly <something, something> I expect right?
I'd like to read more about it before the kit arrives.

OK, I'll be sure to document my experience.
Anyone want to start a 7500W Cyclone thread to share experiences?

Just received my sur-ron :) . All is good (except the different fork RST instead of the FastAce, but I see that it's an upgrade now) and having fun riding around. I also order the pedal kit and assumed it was installed vs included. Question is how to mount the kit with the original rear sprocket as seen in the website. The chain supplied with the kit is well too short (meant for the smaller sprocket) and the original chain needs to be extended a few links to accommodate. How did you guys do it ? New chain or extended links (2 connectors) - and where can I get these parts ?.Last edited by MarkEbike; 04-09-2018, 11:38 AM.

Hi
Could anyone confirm this info is true or a typo?
Check the image.
My GT Fury expert bottom bracket is 83mm. On the Luna site the 3000 watt cyclone say the standard model fit 68mm to 73mm but on the same page there is an image saying 68mm to 83mm. Which one is correct.
Also could this bottom bracket work with the cyclone 3000 watt system? https://lunacycle.com/isis-bottom-br...m-for-cyclone/1 Photo

There's a difference between the mount brackets (the black metal plates) and the actual bottom bracket. Those black plates will work 68-83, you need the other ones for larger.
The bullet points about 68-73mm are referring to the BB selected. You can do 68-73 with standard BB, put a spacer in there for a bit larger. Or alternately go with the 83-110mm BB but know your pedals will be further apart.

Hi,
Re: purchasing a BBS01B or BBS01B from you for UK road use.
I know I'm stretching it a bit here, being it's to do with UK laws, but technically, given that kits are being sold in the UK as 250w road legal but with the possibility to unlock say a 500w or 1000w motor configuration for off road use, by way of de-restricting through the controller, as you all well know it can be done. The caveat is, these ebike motor kits will have etched on them "restricted to 250w" and for unlocking the programming the customer signing a declaration form for the codes, and for on road the ebike kit used at users discretion.
If I were to get a BBS02B, I want to remain legal for the UK roads but have the opportunity to de-restrict for off road use. Could I do the same as what some sellers in the UK are doing and etch in to the bottom of the case, "resticted to 250w" and have the controller programme set up for UK roads (250w, 15.5 MPH)? I've been informed it is technically legal from the sellers stand point to advertise as 250w road legal kit as such.
It's just an idea.
Thanks
Rob

Yeah, you're free to do this. Personally if you ask me though, I just strictly pretend to pedal when cops are around until I'm out of their sight and then it's back to 2500 watts. As long as you're not being a dick and nearly clipping people as you ride past them, I don't think anybody is going to bother you.

Help!
I think I jumped the gun on this one. Seeing all the full-suspension Giant bikes on the Luna site I got the confidence to put a BBSHD on my 2016 Giant Trance 2 full-suspension mountain bike. I ordered the 68mm one from Luna. My bottom bracket is a BB-MT500-PA press fit one... if I kinda compare the sizes it seems like it might fit, but I haven't taken the BB out yet - I need some confirmation first. Can anyone help me out determining if the BBSHD is even compatible with my bike? I also have the chain guide mount there which might need to get chopped off a bit, but the BB is my first riddle to solve! Any tips or experience with this kind of BBs is welcome!1 Photo
