Over the summer I thought I would try to build my own ebike. I learned a lot but I still am not happy with the bike I've built. Is there any way to get my 26x4 fat tires (with a rear wheel hub motor) onto a luna banana bare frame https://lunacycle.com/luna-banana-pedal-bike-only/ ? I know they aren't built for 26 (Are they 20?) but I was wondering if there were any solutions to get at least my rear wheel hub motor on the luna banana. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

If this were me, I would locate a local framebuilder and have them build me a custom steel frame.
Looking at pictures of a Luna Banana, it looks like a local framebuilder could easily modify your frame.

The frame is chromoly steel, so that makes for a straightforward welding job.Comment

Out of the gate wheel rim sizes don't match so that's a major problem. Of course it can happen with enough time, money and compromises but is it worth it? Not IMO.Comment
