They call it the Apex for a reason. The ultra is fairly new so not a ton of competition but new bikes show up all the time. The question is is a torque sense system all that. A lot of riders would say the BBSXX is all anyone needs.

Looks to be a BBSHD which has internal cadence sense giving the so called Pedal Assist System.
