Speed sensor Bafan HD rear wheel

The speed measurement (odometer) in the Luna750c color display for th Bafang HD BB bike does not display. I believe the problem is the sensor, the red light does not flash. Have opened the connector and read 4.5 volts on the parallel leads.


Could not find the sensor on your web page, do you have the sensor in stock?

Is the red light on the speed sensor on and doesn't flash off when the wheel magnet swings by? It should normally be on, when the display is on. The sensor nub with the bullseye needs to be very close to the magnet as it swings by, almost hitting.

You can test the pickup using any magnet. I'd also check that the wheel magnet itself hasn't come out of the holder.

Will it ever be in stock? Am aware of the workings and no the magnet is not gone and waving an alternative magnet will not register.

Reconnected the speed sensor, for the fourth time, just to make sure and behold there was light. and before the light came on zapped the sensor with a larger magnet, May have been a mechanical switch or even a corroded contact, though the connection, screwed, may leak either corrosive gas or liquid, yes the weather is changeable.
