Conversion of the BBSHD between different bottom bracket sizes

I would like to know if it is possible to move the BBSHD between two bikes, depending on season. One is a standard size BB and the other is a fat bike. Can the bottom bracket size be adjusted so you can fit it on a standard bottom bracket, from a fat bike, or is it all or nothing?

Sorry, no - there is little/no adjustment range, and you do not want to attempt to shim a wider motor to fit a narrower bottom bracket - "that way madness lies".

Im guessing the same thing goes for trying to adjust a narrow bottom bracket to a longer one?

it won't work simply because the fat bike probably has a longer 100mm bottom bracket.. so a standard 68-73mm bbshd won't fit there
