    i-Zip 48V LiHon Battery wiring

    Hello,

I have a client that replaced his i-Zip 48V 8.7Ah battery with a Shark type battery.
The bike will not power on and there are 2 wires that went to the i-zip battery (blue and White) and these wires stick up out of the Currie Electro Drive mid-drive motor housing.
I've opened up the old i-Zip battery and the two wires go to the bms.

I am wondering if the two wires are communicating with the Currie controller and have to have a voltage or ground applied in order for the controller to power on?
Can't find data on web searches for the motor or the battery? Also contacted Diamond Back company as they sold this bike with this 350W mid-drive on it but they do not support the motor.

    Thanks

When battery is powered on there is a 30mV AC signal across the two wires coming out of the Currie Electro Drive !
