rear shock on X1 compatibility question - will the 210x55 work reliably?

Good day all. I know the X1 comes with a 200x57, and has a flip chip to a 210x55 option. But when I was talking to a very reputable bike guy, he said he would like confirmation from Luna that the geometry will indeed support that shock and not beat it up, rather than just simply 'fitting in'. Anyone have actual experience with this? And what shock did you use? Thanks!

I too wanted to know what is the difference between 200 vs 210 setting. What is the reason you go to the 210 setting? Is the chip for geometry change ? My current setting is at the 200 position (front).
