I almost never used the throttle so pretty much ignored those settings but just started playing with the PAS specific settings.Trail X2 Throttle Amps 70 PAS Amps 60 Power 1250 RPM 6500 Throttle Response 0.4 Throttle Linearity 80 PAS Response 0.5 Field Weakening 7 AMPS Max 25 Last edited by IOUZIP; 10-26-2022, 04:05 AM.

Ok. This looks like a pretty old post, but I didn't know where else to go. IOU, thanks for the help on EBR forum. My stem is now fixed on the X2 I got 3 weeks ago. It had an improperly installed lower stem bearing. All fixed now thanks to a LBS.... I am wondering why the Luna M600 Ludicrous V2 User Manual describes the throttle at always 100 %? It is only 100% of the PAS level you are in. In other words if you are in level one, you only get the max of the PAS not the max of the motor. It would be nice if you could set the PAS level and then use the throttle in the increments needed... Or, is there a way??

Probably a reference to electric bike review forums... https://forums.electricbikereview.com/search/4554106/?c[users]=IOUZIP
But the measures for "maximum distance" are going to be pretty universal... things you can just 'do' - ride slower, stay in level 1 assist, pedal with your legs a lot, don't carry any excess crap, make sure tires are aired up, plan stops so you coast to a stop, not slam on the brakes, etc. Other things you can buy/modify - thinner tires, less aggressive / more street oriented tread, anything to lighten weight - carbon wheels, other carbon accessories, tubeless tires, possibly gear change if the current gear range doesn't suit your riding style, etc.
