Is there a light kit on the market that will use the existing wiring on the X2 to get power from the battery? I've found a few on Aliexpress that say they work with the Bafang 600, but it's not clear exactly how EASILY they work with it. If anyone can recommend. Or if there is a way to tap into power for something like the Fisher fab (which I love on my surrons) that would be cool too. Cheers.

The selection of lights that will run at typical electric bike battery voltages is very slim - most folks just go with rechargeable lights... these days they are going to give you the best selection and beams if that's what you are looking for
Some bafang controllers/motors put out low voltage and some batteries or displays have USB charging ports but it's all very low power so at best it will give you lights that will make you visible but not provide much illumination
Another approach is to put a converter that will take battery voltage and make decent 12V power and with that you could run lights made for moto or automotive but it's a lot of work for lights that aren't likely ideal for a bicycle
As elegant as it may seem to run a light from the electric bike system, there's not really much as far as elegant solutions - reality is that today most bicycles don't have electrical and haven't for decades so most good lights from companies that can spend the money doing a good design are making rechargeable lights - and why not? They work just as well on an electric bike as a regular one...
