it’s actually a dirt bike tire, hence the weight and thickness . order a front, 16x3.0

Thoughts on hub drive climbing. Pax was correct. The way this is geared allows it to climb aggressively. I am impressed and the hub isn’t hot after a PAS4 climb. Much better than expected.
Itwould be nice to see the volts on the main screen. The battery indicator seems accurate but I had a little range anxiety today. I had to dismount, toggle and see that it was still 40%. I do notice that around 40 the input effort seems to increased compared to a full battery.

Is this the same battery as the Eclipse (obvs different AH). Luna doesn't have any extra batteries for sale for the bike yet.

Why would they do that? Enclosed battery and motor specific controller.Last edited by Neverlost99; 06-19-2022, 04:26 AM.

I finally finished up my solution for a completely foldable handlebar and it works great. Now it fits into the back of my Model Y super easily.
Here are all the parts -

NIUAWASA Fork Extender

25.4 to 31.8 handlebar shim (outer layer shim):

22.2 to 25.4mm handlebar shim (inner layer shim):

Ratchet M5 bolts:

6mm M5 Spacer Washers w/ 8mm outer diameter:

Here's a video that shows how the twist stem works:

And a video that shows how the ratchet bolts work:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMe1-pIIEH4
The ratchet bolts are very strong, so be careful not to overtighten. It might be a good idea to get a torque wrench so that you can figure out what 6-7 Nm feels like before you start using the ratchet handles every day.
And the M5 spacer washers you use must NOT be more than 8mm in outer diameter and they need to add up to at least 9mm in length. I'm currently stacking two 6mm long spacer washers per bolt for 12mm total length.
It's very fast and very easy to twist the stem and drop the handlebars.
Here's a video of it in action and some pictures (note that I'm doing it one-handed, so it's a little easier to do with 2 hands):

Just call me crazy - but out of curiosity does anyone foresee any major issues installing a kit such as this one to up top speed?
(I do realize that other things should happen e.g. hydraulic brakes etc - but I'm curious if anyone sees a fundamental flaw to this plan/kit)
I'd be planning to connect the battery on the top or underside of the front part of the frame, and potentially put the controller in the back half of the frame interior.
TIA!

What should I change up before winter hits? I tend to only ride on pavement, but do I have to change our the tires and rims or just the tires? Anything else I need to know? I will obviously keep the battery and bike indoors when not in use. But many times when the streets are not icey and slushy I can still ride to nearby places that I frequent.

Does anyone know what’s causing this? It’s coming from the front disc brake
