Suffered tire damage while riding in Chicago. This is my 3rd flat and second from a screw/ nail. Bike shop says I need new tires. Where can I order the same kind?

FWIW I'd try and patch it - what's to lose?

Both tire and tube should receive patches (or just replace the tube and patch the tire)... tire is patched from the inside

I was thinking of selling the original tires that have 20 mi since new on them. I just replaced with a set of $178.00 vee moto badgers, so I probably won't ever be going back. I guess private msg me if interested. shipping could make it a no go.

Yep - tire patched and sealant in the tubes would be nice.

Now, are my old eyes lying or how did that tip side out screw puncture happen? A really long broken off screw without a head?

I have no idea how the screw ended up with the tip sticking out. The bike shop I brought it to joked and said I deserve an award for how it got in there. Anyway, here's an update. Yes, that's a super 73 tire.

Great upgrade. They look great on our bikes and perform even better! The BDGR's are about 2" taller but still fit the frame, and the extra width causes no clearance problems- (belt, swingarm), but the 4.5" width with the lugs extending around the sidewalls is just enough to keep me from seeing the brake calipers clearly. Especially the inner pad. Not a biggie, and I would trade that for how neat they feel when you get up on the edges of the tires.

Are there any suggestions for where to buy a battery. I would like to be able to swap batteries for better range.

Not entirely sure but probably within a few weeks or so. I know they have been working on it. If you would like to be automatically notified you can enter your email address into the notification box on the listing.

Does anyone know the diameter of the rear axle bolt size? I'd like to connect a Burley child trailer to this.

Originally bought an Ariel Rider Kepler but had to reluctantly sell it with just 16 miles ridden. My main reason for buying an ebike is so I can take my 3 yr old with me on adventures. The Kepler was AMAZING. 35 mph on throttle only and I was able to get it to 40 with some pedaling. Unfortunately the rear axle was HUGE. It needed a 21mm socket to remove and the burley hitch adapter wouldn't fit. The rear rack was also way too wide for any child seat.

This is my top choice for a replacement but I need to be certain it can accommodate the Burley D Lite.

I just bought a Burley Tail Wagon for my dog and the hitch fits over the bolt. I forget the size, but if the Burley hitch is the same, it should work.

However, the bad news for the day is that my charger is no longer charging when I plug it into the bike. The socket, the end of the charger (male plug) and the wall plug all look fine, it lights up green, but it never indicates charging no matter how long I leave it plugged in (it stays green). I've cleaned/blown on the contacts but no dice. Anyone have any advice or ideas?

Unsure if related, but when I look at the battery information in the menu - it says 0 cycles, which seems wrong.

Bike has about half full battery currently and still drives normally. Help! TIA

Sorry to hear. Please see this page: https://electricbike.com/forum/forum...ctrical-issues

If you are still having trouble after reading the page please email support@lunacycle.com attn:seb with a description of the issue along with your order#.

In my experience it is probably something simple like the barrel (or port) is messed up. Pretty easy fix, the page above goes over testing for how to determine, I would pay particular attention to the stuff on voltage testing and continuity testing. If no joy and you end up having to email please describe the results of the troubleshooting steps described in the link, this may cut down on time to resolution and we would all like you up and running sooner than later :)
