Strange, everybody seems to have the throttle tied to the PAS lvl, but i have another experience..
I'm riding with my BBSHD from Luna, with Hot Rod Program. But the Throttle is insane in PAS lvl1, it seems not tied to the selected PAS level, how to change this?
I want to tie the Throttle reaction to the PAS lvl,

My goal: Riding 18 km/h / 11 mph on PAS 1 or 2, with a gentle throttle response.

Factory Bafang programming seems to tie throttle to PAS levels so maybe re-program the controller? Of course, no throttle under PAS 0.

It's working. Used the USB cable to change it.
    Thanks!

Notes on 750c color display for BBSHD and BBS02
My BBSHD has the Hot Rod settings from Luna

As I discover more I will add to this post.
Code to access the Advanced Settings (access with password 1199) - I have not done this yet.

Sorry if I have repeated from above. Notes below from what I read above and my own experiments.
I did not see a place where all were indicated in a way that worked for me.

      I am calling the on/off and M : : switches
      I am calling the + and - : : keys

      Here are my findings:

*To start hold on/off switch down until the Luna logo appears
*To stop hold the on/off switch down until the Luna logo disappears

*Night Time Mode: hold the + key down until display changes - it’s a toggle so holding it down again toggles between day and night modes

*Speed Mode: Quickly press and release M switch - toggles between - Real Time : Average Speed : Top Speed

*Trip Mode: Hold both the + and - keys down at same time to reset - I have not been able to verify that this works but others above have said it does.
There are also bars (like the speed mode) that indicate there are toggles or options but I have not found the way to access the trip mode options or toggles

*PAS Modes: Click the + and - keys to toggle between PAS modes - mine starts at 1 out of a range of 5

*Walking Mode: Click and hold the - key and the bike will “walk” forward at slow speed.

*Menu Mode - Quickly tap the M switch twice to enter the menu - to toggle between the Display Settings and Basic Settings click the on/off switch
See post #2 for more info regarding the specific available settings

I am a new user. 83 miles so far on the Giant Cross bike with the 750C display. I have read every post on this site and none, I mean none of the recommendations to go from daytime to nighttime settings work! Just as an aside, I just paid $3600+ for this bike and there isn't a user's manual to go with it. One has to search through all of these posts to figure out simple shit! You get a lot of warnings about your battery and charging it but nothing else. This is not a good business practice. I have a lot of friends interested in ebikes but they are not mechanics, they are bike riders. This reminds me of DOS with the first IBM computers. Anyone remember DOS, you had to be a programmer to interface with your "work saving device". I am not impressed so far. Hopefully someone from LunaCycle will read this a take it to heart.

People are always free to pay much more while receiving much less hardware. Will they get some out of date, incomplete poorly translated printed instructions? Probably.

I can find clear up to date product info for practically anything Luna sells on individual product pages. Sure, it involves a few mouse clicks but seriously, that’s what some people find to complain about?

If that sort of thing is so important to someone, feel free to pay more and receive less….

This 4 page thread seems to be mostly a discussion about the day night feature and whether it is noticeable or not. I don't know how much more of an explanation you need. If you need or want someone to hold your hand maybe you should have bought an ebike from a local bike shop. Oh by the way I liked DOS.

I am a newbie to e-bikes, and bought the Luna tuned BBS02 with the 750c controller and installed on a Trek Shift2 for my bride. So far it is an amazing ride...but, a few questions on the controller. Not sure if this is the right place, to look, but seems it should be. A couple of quirks on the controller I am trying to wrap my feeble newbie brain around so some help would be appreciated.
First, the ride is built on a 26x2.25" wheel set, so I set the wheel size to 26" but the mileage accumulation is nowhere close to correct on the odometer. I go for a 4 mile ride it registers more like 5. Is this a settings issue? Also, are my speeds also off? It is built with a 7sp rear derailleur and tops out at around 25mph, which seems right. What am I doing wrong?
Second, I live in hundred plus plus degree Arizona, so I pull the battery and store it in the house when not in use. Whenever I come out to ride and install the battery, the odometer resets...and the clock/calendar restarts.......really? I should think it would have some sort of a memory for the odometer and clock. I do NOT want to leave the battery on or in the bike when not riding. This can't be the way it was designed. What am I doing wrong?
Third, the controller seems to have the capacity to store all sorts of info on the battery, charge cycles, amp hrs avail, etc...but none of this seems to be retained/available nothing but "--" showing in these fields. FWIW we are running a Luna 52V bottle bat. Is this a compatibility issue or a feature available but not implemented in the roll out version?
Also, found that pushing the "-" button, does enable a walking mode, NICE feature! Are there any other stealth features? I am sure I will have more questions as we get this thing on the road more, but overall really like the ride/setup overall. A GOOD User Manual for the controller would be NICE!

All of your questions have been covered in previous posts on this thread and other threads. You need to go back and do some reading to achieve enlightenment.

As to the mileage being off...try playing with different wheel size settings. Pick one size up or down from where you are now. See if the accumulated mileage is closer.

            From Google Translate:
"Who knows, help, please. When you turn on the power, the display asks you to enter the password. I introduced I in 1919, 1199 - nothing helps, after 20 seconds the gaze display, the panel turns off. What is the problem and how to solve it? Thanks for the answer."

If you guys want to answer him in Russian, Google "Google Translate" and the application comes up. Type in your text in English and select Russian in the second box. Highlight, copy and paste. Unless you speak Russian, you won't have the ability to check the accuracy Google's translation; it won't be perfect, but it will get the point across.

Error 21H Unknown. Just finished installing middrive kit with BBSHD Motor, Wolfpak 52V and Luna 750c Display. Gave it a few circles on the driveway for 5 minutes. Got Error 21H twice and when that happened, the power assist stop working. I turned off the Display and tried everything worked for a bit, then 21H and no more power assist.

              Any suggestions?

Error 21 points to the speed sensor... I don't know what the "H" is but likely the speed sensor is not close enough to the magnet or the connection isn't tight. Hope it helps :)

At the beginning of these 750c posts there is a picture showing the Advanced screen. 2nd item is "Current Limit". My screen showed the same thing a couple days ago. Now it does not. How do I get the advance screen to show "Current Limit" again?

From researching it appears this display can control and provide power for a set of 12 volt lights. Does anyone know where I would wire the lights into? Is this a different wiring harness?

The problem with the PAS and the throttle limits has some serious implications. The Legislation in BC concerning use of Ebikes on trails within Parks includes the ability to limit PAS and turn off the throttle. Bikes that can do this will be legal to ride on trails with non electric bikes. The ability to limit the power of the pedal assist and to be able to turn off the throttle is a significant advantage giving Ebikes access to an amazing amount of trails. Once sorted out this could be a huge selling point in BC. As well as a wonderful opportunity to access some of the greatest trail systems in the world.
