Any idea when the next stock of X-1s or Apollos will arrive? Thinking about getting a size smaller for the wife, almost ordered one, but made the mistake of waiting a day.Comment

Yes they sold out even faster than the last batch, almost as soon as the notifications went out. Glad you were able to get one anyway. I unfortunately do not have an eta for the next run at this time. There are typically a few cancellations that get added back to inventory at some point near the end of the builds for a given production run, you might try to keep an eye on the listing and catch one of those before it sells out again if possible, but they would go quick, likely within a few hours of being added back.

Is there no way to pre-order currently out-of-stock items? If restocked products are selling out again over a matter of hours, it boils down to luck that someone checked the site at the right moment to get anything.
I'm interested in the Luna Stealth whenever that's next in stock, I added my email for restock notification, but I wish I could pre-order to save a place in line rather than checking the product page constantly. Thanks for any response.Comment

Thank you for the interest. Unless we have set up pre order for a particular item there would not be a way to do so. Pre-orders are typically set up when we have a timeframe that is specific for getting the item back, but we do not set up pre-orders if we don't know when we will get it. As far as that particular bike it is in production but with so much uncertainty these days regarding the global supply chain it would not be good customer service to take pre order on something that we don't have a better timeframe for delivery. If you have signed up to be notified then we will send you an email.

I wish Luna would allow people to place a deposit on bikes instead of just being placed on a list to be notified when they are available. The bikes sell out within hours, and it's really frustrating to wait months on a list only to miss out. When I asked about placing a deposit, I was given a very sarcastic response by Gary. "We don't have the ability to preorder a preorder." I won't be wasting any more time on their lists.Comment

I don't think it would be fair to anyone to take any money on something where we don't have a time frame in mind which is why we do not take deposits on something where the pre-order isn't even available yet. Also it would be logistically very difficult to do with our e-commerce platform for several reasons.

The shop lists the Luna Folding E-bike as being in stock but on the product's page I'm met with a message stating "Sorry, all Battery Options options for this product are currently unavailable" with the bike being unable to be added to the shopping cart. Any idea when batteries for this bike will be available so that the bike can be purchased?Comment

The X1 page says “ IN STOCK AND SHIPPING NOW! “ in bold yellow & black lettering, but when I click on anything, it basically say’s, out of stock ?Comment

Sorry bro, there's just way more demand for good ebikes than there are ebikes themselves right now.
We are adding more Apollo soon, but only color red in size medium, they will likely sell out again within a few hours. I expect that should be up within a week or so. We can notify you if you want but you would want to act quickly on it when getting the email -
I put my email request here and at the shop site for the Apollo, was told I would receive and email notification when the bikes were ready for sale. I waited, then asked how long it might be, someone else replied with hours hours…. You said: Well I don't know about hours but I doubt it would be a month.
A bit later that day on this forum thread, someone said they had dropped, unbeknown to me AND YOU apparently. I received an email the next day, within two hours I tried to order a bike, too late… I was considering the X1 because of that, I’m done because this process makes no sense.
A simple $500 deposit with your name in line would quickly resolve this. This way, if your name was not called for say spot 53, you at least would be in the next list. As far a logistics and keeping track of names and $, someone invented a spreed sheet long ago, Bill gates makes it quit easy.
No hard feelings here, just frustration over the process of ordering a bike(s). I wish you a good luck and goodbye, I won’t post again.

To take payment and deposit on something sold out would mean processing it as a special order outside the system, both for the deposit and actual order. Meaning it would have no valid order number linked to the options and skus, would not be logged or loggable within the shipping software for any returns or support purposes, making long term support more difficult. That's just one example of how it is logistically difficult. A spreadsheet unfortunately does not address any of the issues it would create.

Should ship within a week or so likely. Depends what options you ordered but those are being prepped now. Sorry for the delay, shop wanted to take some time to confirm that the listing description had info that the batch your order was a part of would be Galaxy glossy since we have not had a chance to take new pics yet

Similar to the rationale for only having them available as an option on a bike, they are sometimes an option on kits. It was such a small number that they are not available on bikes or kits anymore. May be a while before we have more in significant quantity. They are working on it, and we would sell you one if we could, but can't sell what we don't have...

Yes I do get all that you said that said I'm trying to complete my kit. I looked at other batts and most are 3 1/2" wide or have no mounting options that's not going to work

Hi, really depends on the bike, for example we just shipped the previous preorders of X1 few weeks ago and are expecting next batch to be up for preorder within a month or so. Surron preorders sold out on preorder but we just opened preorder on the following production run. Apollos should be up for preorder within maybe month or so depending on battery production. Many of the others are also planned but will be much later

Preorders for the production run arriving in september are sold out, yes. We do have preorder round up for october, that would be soonest you can get one if you place the order now. They are available now if you would like to preorder. I have no idea when they will be out of preorder again. Really depends on customer demand.
