Any update on the Fixed Stealth? Just curious if you're thinking more in the 2-3 months range, or more like in the year range...

Yes shortages of everything are getting more widespread. Even cells and circuit boards are harder to come by. Sorry, I do not believe we will have more Fixed any time soon. I can notify you if you want, when we do have them though.

Ah yeah, I was afraid of that. Perhaps it's time to think about DIY with a TSDZ2 and a water bottle/pannier battery or something. Sure won't be as clean...

Hello,

I am interested in getting the BBS02 Mid Drive Kit with a 48 v shark pack battery. I thought I had put my name on the waitlist at the beginning of the summer, but never received any notification. Perhaps none came available. Is it better to just buy the motor and the battery separately whenever the battery becomes available? Do you know when the 48v shark pack battery might be restocked?

Hi, yes I would probably just buy the battery separate. I doubt we will ever restock shark at this point, but should have wolf restocked later.

One other question, will your BBSHD motors and kits still be UART, as opposed to CAN BUS ?
I expect UART stock will be depleted soon, but I’m hoping not quite yet.

We will not be stocking the canbus version. We feel locking down the controller from end user modification goes against DIY and is anti-customer. Likely bafang has developed this to enable companies that recognize bbshd is the most robust mid drive bafang has, yet still want the ability to rip people off by forcing them to pay the shop to "upgrade" their controller changing a current limit that was previously editable by anyone with a $20 program cable.

If in the unlikely event bafang were to discontinue the normal version I suppose that is their choice to make, in any case we have alternatives lined up.

Could I please be added to the notification list for both the Wolf and Dire Wolf battery packs. I just set up one of your bbs02 kits and it is working great. Currently powering it with some electric lawn mower batteries but would love to upgrade to one of your batteries if they will be back in stock soon. Cheers.

paxtana, does the Apex have the Ludicrous controller, or is it the standard controller for the Bafang Ultra? Is that what people mean by the "Ultra Max"?

Apex peaks at about 2000w, so not quite at the same level as ludicrous bbshd v1 or v2, but close. I don't know if it is the same exact controller but it is more powerful than standard Ultra which has a peak around 1000w. Far as I know all Ultra are "ultra max", but I suppose I could be wrong about that.

Just a heads up dire wolf is restocked on kits as an option. Inventory is limited so will be a while before restock on standalone listing. Wolf restock is about a month out.

PAXTANA - I received the battery Monday, modded it to fit my Galaxy Fatbike frame. Have a couple of details to work out tonight...but will definitely be hitting the trails this weekend.

I ordered a sur ron last week and i know iwill ship in early october, but for local pick up, could it be available any earlier?

Hi, thank you for your order. Local pickups usually take up to several business days longer than shipped bikes as they are a custom courtesy for locals. Either way it can not be picked up until we actually have the bikes on hand. We will email you as soon as it is ready!
