    Any update too share regarding Apex availability? When available, will it be offered with the Rohloff gear train option?

      Hi, at least few more months for Apex most likely. Yes should have rohloff but depends on availability of rohloff at the time.

      I have a fully tricked out APEX including Rolodex hub, only very gently ridden 3 times that I got in 2019 that I would consider selling if I can cover
      my costs [we bought a 2nd home where I now spend weekends; there I ride a much more expendable electric bike on the beach with the dog alongside…I was going to ride it regularly along the C&O canal next to the Potomac but never have]. It has been in a climate controlled room.

    Hello Paxtana,

    Reasonably long term customer, last purchased a mid drive kit from Luna as well as a wolf pup battery, and it has been working well thanks for that!

    However I was looking to purchase a Luna Stealth in a Medium size as an additional bike. Would it be possible to pre-purchase one of these bikes or do you know when they will be restocked?

      Yes we will have them available for preorder when closer to ship date, they are working on it but from what I understand we are at least couple months away. Want me to notify you when preorders are up?

    Tried signing up for availability updates on the x1 but couldn't due to a bug on the site. Any chance you can help sign me up for updates? Would love to pick up an X1 (medium, ludicrous, and silent treatment) if/when availability is there.

    Hey there, I have been wanting your folding bike for some time now. I hear it's just a matter of getting the batteries in for it, is there a timeframe on when they'll be in? Additionally, are there going to be other colors than Orange/White? Thanks!

      We have batteries arriving in a matter of days, looks like 13.5ah mj1 packs.

      Sorry won't have any other colors for likely long time

      The person I spoke with over the phone seemed doubtful that there would be enough batteries in the shipment coming in to use any for the folding bike. If I had to choose between having to continue waiting or buying one of the mountain ebikes this go-around, I'd probably go ahead and pull the trigger on a mountain ebike. What bikes are the 13.5 mj1 packs for?

      I can't speak to the conversation you had with someone on my team as I do not have a transcript but I can assure you my phone guys do not have advance info on where a battery will be added, whether as options on kits, standalone options, builds on folders and banana, or maybe even some other build. Likely some mix. If you are looking to get a folder specifically email us if you only see those packs added to everything else, maybe we can work something out. Those are 4p packs so mj1 would work great with just about anything.

    I was told, this morning, on the phone, by someone at Luna Cycle that there is no plans currently, for production runs of Apollo or X-1. I was hoping to get on a waiting list to be notified that they will be back in stock - specifically, I wanted to buy an Apollo. It sounds like I should just find a eBike somewhere else.

      Sounds like a miscommunication. We do production runs of both regularly. X1 runs are more frequent than Apollo but both are slated to come back in stock. If you would prefer to buy elsewhere that's up to you but we would be happy to notify you when we have either or both restocked.

    Please let me know how I can get on the notification or waiting list for Apollo. I tried to sign up on the Luna website, on the Apollo page, but it just gives errors. Can you give me any ETA on when the next production run of Apollos will be?

      Okay we will get back to you! Yes if there are required options it is not possible to use the restock notification app unfortunately, but we will email you personally when they are available.

      From what I understand there will be a relatively small number of red medium apollos available within a month or two, leftovers from the last batch that just need built up. There are hundreds more notification requests than that so I do not believe we will do a full notification for those bikes. The next production run would be months after that but we do not have a specific timeframe just yet as it depends on various production runs of different parts to be finished first.

      I’ve been trying to subscribe for notifications for the x1, apollo and apex on the website without success - keeps saying all options must be selected yet some, eg frame size aren’t selectable on the site. How can I subscribe to in stock notifications?

        It is a hoseclamp with a custom machined bracket that has an M5 bolt hole on it. The shrink prevents it from scratching the frame.

        Ahhhh, the water bottle screw mounts... likely a bit better than adel clamps, especially if trying to carry a lot of weight

        Yeah I tried various p clamps myself and did not like the way they tend to flex under any significant weight, these are way more rigid. Once you tighten down that hoseclamp the bracket won't move even if you smack it with a hammer.

        If not, I'm looking for a replacement controller for my cyclone 3000, when I bought the kit I chose the option of the 40 amp 48-72v Sinewave Tiny Controller. It has worked well for two years with smooth power and I really liked the compactness, but it finally gave out.

        It is unlikely to be restocked, either asi or the sinewave, sorry. You may have to import it directly from cyclone in taiwan.

          It is in stock right now, but looks like sold out of the stock freebie display. If you select any other display option on the kit it will allow you to proceed with the order
