Actually just heard from operations and we are on track for shipping them sooner than expected. Many will ship sometime this week.

...Curious, were these built out in your shop and then shipped like the Apollo was, or shipped form china 'mostly' assembled like the X1?

Hey Pax,

So I guess they have discontinued the Apollo right? It disappeared from the website today....have they been having frame failures because of the battery box? I just bought one and now worried about the longevity of the Frame- Battery set up. Any recommendations? I have replaced every component except the ones you can't....the Crank and the Rear Brake, with top notch components.

To say I'm disappointed is putting it mildly....

No less than 3 folks got back to me saying its premature to speak of the Apollo's demise! They just have no idea when more frames will be ready. I breathed a sigh of relief as I really love my bike and and want to believe in the design! Looking forward to this weekend's riding!

will you guys be selling the M600 motor with the new V2 controller, i dont see it on your site.

If you bought a bike from us that has m600 on it we may consider something like that as a special order but seems unlikely to be sold separately. Not really my call on stuff like that, but from a business perspective I would imagine keeping v2 exclusively for Luna bikes makes it more of a value-add for those models. Please bear in mind that this is an educated guess and not a statement of fact.

I got a twist Throttle just last week from Luna ...unless I got the last one, they should be in stock...even in different colors...

Full twists are available but it looks like half-twists (by far my preference on bikes over full twist) are out

Wouldn't be surprised if other vendors have them, never know though

Here is my version...I cut it down to the length of a GripShift because you simply cannot use a throttle to hang on to your bike ala a Motorcycle that never does not use it in coordination with a clutch

I think it works pretty good and feels more like a 1/4 turn than a 1/2 turn...

That could work - still seems like easiest just to get the real deal half-twist... love mine, have them on both my bikes and they are likely even less than 90° of rotation but it seems perfect for me

Agree full-twists aren't so good for holding on to bike... the half-twists also seem to lessen the strain on the wrist less if using the throttle for a while
