    Can some one tell me how many of these batteries I would have to buy to make a 52v 20ah battery pack
    Hope this is a good place to ask Thanks

    string of 14S for 52v times 7P for 21ah, so 14x7 = 98. Make sense? I think S stands for series and P stands for parallel.

      84 for a 14p 6p pack. best to purchase a few extra in case you damage one. This will be a little over 20ah. 7p will be 3ah more

        Man Thank you fellas I did some more reading and with your help
        I have finally put it tougher
        I just could not see at first 2x2=4 duh.

          I did something thinking and this is what I came up with
          Tell me if I am on track or do I need to go back to the books
          So if I built a 20S5P battery out of these cells I would have a 72.2v 15ah pack
          Is this right or am I totally lost

                3.7 volts is the nominal voltage of the cells but they will charge to 4.2 volts.

                Ten cells in series is called a 36 volt battery but fully charged it is 42 volts, a 48v (13 in series) battery is actually 54v fully charged.

                So 20 in series will give you 84 volts fully charged.

                most controllers can not handle that. make sure your controller can handle more than the fully charged voltage.

                  I agree with the 14s7p answer. Fully charged voltage is 58.8V, nominal voltage is 51.8V. 21Ah capacity.
