18650 2 of 3P, more capacity per cell, or more cells with less capacity.

    Hello,

Can someone explain me the possible problems in the pack that I am building for my bike.
The old pack was 36V 6.8Ah Lithium Polymer, that one was dead. I have build a new pack consisting 20x 18650 cells.

    The new pack is 10S2P of the Samsung INR18650 35E.(3500mah) I thought 2x 3500mah is 7Ah.
Can someone confirm that my build is good, some other folks told me i could better make it 10S3P of 2300mah cells. to make 6.9Ah
30 cells wil fit in the box I think.

Why are more cells better? Thanks in advance!

I would definitely use the 3500mAh cells! This would maximize battery capacity while minimizing weight.

What is the argument against 10s3p with the 3500mAh cells in order to obtain a 10.5Ah battery?
