    Side pull Shark battery mount.

I just got my TS 750W motor and Shark battery I was surprised the the shark battery actually fit inside the front triangle of the tiny Trek Navigator 14.5" mens frame. But there's no room to slide it out of the braket. I saw some side pull battery mounts somehwere. IDK if it was just the mount or if it was a whole housing. Does anyone know anything about these?

Google "Hailong side release" - they're quite different than the end slide cases, and may not have the cell capacity. I doubt you could transfer the "naked" battery assembly from one to the other, unfortunately.

Luna used to sell these, maybe they have some kicking around in the back for warranty replacement?

Probably a stupid idea, but if you can spare some vertical clearance, I wonder if you could incorporate a swing-out knife hinge:

I could build that! My local E bike shop has a 3D printer. I'll see if he has anything. I'm actually shocked that it fits at all.
