    Rebuild

Greetings. I see a lot of very knowledgeable writers here. I am hoping one of you can help me.
    Bike: 2015 E3 Dash
    Mileage: 2k
    Battery: 48V 8Ah 18650 series/ parallel.

I am hoping to rebuild my battery. Ideally I would like to buy a larger battery case, maybe an x-go. Soldering/ casing the batteries is less of a concern. What I am particularly worried about is losing my throttle assist and battery charge indicator. The battery receptacle on the down-tube has 4 terminals (I think, maybe 5). If I were to re-wire the battery in a new case, in theory, could I keep the same BMS and throttle assist components of the stock battery? Given the batteries are connected to yield 48-52V and 17 or so Ah., depending on what I can fit. I really don't want to lose that throttle assist feature. Any ideas from people smarter than me? I am thinking the only way is to add wires and find a way to waterproof them out of the battery? Use spade connectors to connect it to the stock battery receptacle? It sounds ugly but I can't think of any other way.
