Thank you, if I lash 5 of these together I should be good to go. Running a 500W motor will work. Especially since Europe has a 500W limit.

Here is a commercial offering that addresses this. However, it is only 36V at this point so if you go 36v, this might be an option.

Flying with batteries
I’m new to the electric bike scene. Not sure if I’m asking the right question.
I’m adding a mid-drive motor to my recumbent trike and I have questions about batteries. I would like to be able to fly commercial with all my kit. My understanding is that you can fly with 100 W/h batteries in your carry on. Is this a good option, powering my motor with many battery packs, or is there a better solution.Tags: None
