    Re-built pack doesn't work anymore

    Hi,

Got this problem that BBS02 doesn't turn on anymore. Tried connecting directly to the cells and it works, but via the BMS it doesn't start (even tho there's sufficient voltage, but for some reason less that the cells show). Contacted the BMS seller and he said the pack needs to have all cells the same voltage and resistance. The pack was previously 13S and I made it 14S by adding 4 new cells. All of the old cells show 4.08V except the 4 new ones that are like 3.89V. Is this true that you can't change the series config with different age cells? Any solution to this problem? Thanks in advance.

BMS don't typically work like that where you can just pop on another series string and have it work like no problem.. No doubt that is where the issue originated. Either remove the string or use a 14s BMS. Not entirely sure using 14s bms would even work since you got an imbalance TBH but might be worth a shot.

Hi, yeh just to clearify it is a 14S BMS. I charged the 4 new cells to all the other old cells voltage and it worked for like 3 kilometers and shutdown again. The difference between cells now are 0.02V yet BMS doesnt seem to like it.
