rz3612 battery

Hello,
I have been out of the electric scooter and bike world for a few years and i see things have changed a bit a friend found a scooter with the wires all cut up and but has some life left in it the scooter is a superscooter 800 it has an upgraded battery its a scud rz3612 and I need to know what wires connect to what it has 2 red 2 black and a green and yellow wire I know the larger red and black are power to controller but not sure about the others if any one can help let me know

Any idea where the charge port is or was? Maybe some sort of lighting circuit? I remember messing with a scooter years ago that actually had a 12v output from the pack for lights.

I suspect the other owner got this battery from some other device and was tring to make it work and gave up I may need to pop the top off the battery and see what the wires go to inside

The green and yellow especially being fairly small wires would seem like some sort of data or sensor wires to me. Does each pair of red and black read pack voltage? If so then my guess is big one is discharge. Small charge. Hopefully the pack will run without the data and what ever is on there is just something the controller with that pack wanted or needed. Maybe its just a temp sensor that read out on the display and maybe told the controller to ramp down the output?

Does it seem to have a charge?

The model 3612 is interesting. You think its 36v 12 ah? Or 36v and 12v?

it runs my ebike fine with only the large pair of red and black hooked up

Mine won't charge through either of the red and black pairs. I believe the smaller red and black pair is for charging but need a message from the yellow and or green wires to charge. Is this possible?

No, just the large pair of Red and Black

Hello all, I have been in for a rebuilt of my own see pics, also you will see what voltages come from the different sets of wires Large Red and Black = 40vdc: Small Red and Black = 1.160vdc : Small Yellow and Green = 3.08vdc

Here's an inside look battery is from a razor ecosmart the throttle has six wires yellow and green is two of them.

I believe those two wires goto the throttle and controller the way it works is that when you let go of the throttle it kills the voltage to the main battery. So if it happens to malfunction and goes full chooch when you let go of the throttle it suppose to stop power to the motor in theory.
