First one I built was on a 7 speed ITB with springer front end I picked up from Niagara Cycles.
It still needs a disk or drum front break. I work for Sixthreezero, and sometimes get great deals on bikes with shipping damage. This was one with a FUBAR forks. I have several of them left, but I'm waiting till I have the time to add the drum or disk break setup to use the others.

The second version I built with the same model bike using a Shimano Nexus 3 speed IGH. I like the three speed much better. I just keep it in 2nd gear most of the time and pedal as I take off from a stop before working the throttle. It lets me beat my girlfriend home from work on days when she comes to the warehouse to pick up bikes for me with the truck!
I'm thinking the 7 speed is probably better for the o2, but I HATE having to shift all the time. Especially on my daily commute with all the times I have to stop, and little time to get up to top speed.

For the moment I'm using a back pack for the 17.5 Luna battery.
I'm also building a BBSHD, a 2000W Cyclone, and a 3000W Cyclone on the three speed models of the Sixthreezero In The Barrel bikes.
I'm also fabricating a couple ITF battery boxes to fit up to a 72V battery.
The 72V version is a bit bigger than I like, but will still look good in this bike frame, and will hold a 60V with a Cyclone controller tucked up semi inside the underbelly for a slim profile and better cooling than having the controller just up inside the battery box.
The smaller version will be just big enough for a 52 and 60V battery pack without controller inside, and look like a Board Tracker gas tank.
I love these bikes! Forward peddling gives me all the room to place motors inside frames with eccentric BB adapters! The extended frame design allows for the larger battery.

Haha, thanks. I was hung over most of X-Mas weekend and feeling a bit guilty about commenting in private to my employers FB page about the photographers they use. Thought I may get fired when returning to work yesterday. Now I'm sober and the boss is gone for the week, so I may get a photography gig along with my bike mechanic job and starting the company into ebikes. Things are looking up for 2018!

Anyone have a link to a company that can make limited production battery boxes in carbon fiber (LUNA Eric)?
When I was at your new place picking up the 2KW Cyclone, one of your guys mentioned how cheap it can be done by import, limited quantities.
I've studied the process enough to make my own equipment and do my own, but I just don't have the space for the equipment!
The same vacuum table could be used to mold plastic/PVC battery boxes as well, but the real way to go is with pre preg. BIG ASS refrigerator and oven required! WAY beyond my means!
