Hi - thanks for the Build and photos. I was wondering why you altered the drive side rear dropout - was that to adjust the chain line or add the tensioner block?

Hi ncrkd, First i wanted ti install a belt drive system, but the belt wasn't without noise, the alignment was perfect, because of the dropout i had made, but the "belt wheels" where a new model with a little hobble in the middle and that makes the belt more noise. The first belt drive, i did, was way better (read without any noise), there was no hobble in middle of the belt wheels. The "old model" they don't make it any more??

You mean the new "centertrack" belt - yeah, I don't think Gates makes the old style one anymore.

Maybe some vendor has some old inventory, still.

Took a year and a half to sell or did you just suddenly start getting people asking based on the old ad?

Yeah, it took that long because most people were to sort for the frame hight, but nevertheless it's got the right customer. He's very happy so I'm happy.
