    AQL motors, any experience?

I found this brand, AQL. They make big motors, which seem to be a replica of the Bafang M620:

But they also make these small round ones:

They're half off of Bafangs, which is pretty good if the quality is any good.

If not, any good; cheaper alternatives to a bafang m500, G510, M620 etc? I'm on a tight budget to make an internal battery, mid-drive mtb.

I personally would buy a good USED BBS02 or BBSHD than some unknown Chinese brand. While yes, you MAY get lucky, usually there is a reason it sells cheaper. Cheaper parts. I have a co-worker with a BBS02, 48V battery and all used less than 500 miles. I would buy that. Love my BBSHD/ Phaserunner combo, but I am looking to upgrade soon to a QS motor 10k watt. My BBSHD is just able to squeek out 4k

Yeah the BBSHD and BBS02 are great, but I'm looking at frame mounted once, not kits. I think it's a copy of the G510.1000 AKA the Bafang M620
