Is it possible to lower the level of pedal assist on a Luna Z1

    Hello Everyone,

I got my Luna Z1 about a three weeks ago and I love it! I have already put 180 trail miles on it!

My apologies if this question has already been asked and answered (I looked through the forum posts but could not find the answer). I am wondering if it is possible to lower the level of pedal assist for my Z-1. In particular, I want to reduce the amount of "help" the motor gives me when I am in pedal assist level 1.

You might be wondering why I want to do this?

    (1) I want to have at least one pedal assist level that does not help me that much so I can get a better cardio work when riding, especially in flat sections where I feel that even pedal assist level one is helping me too much. Zero pedal assist is not a good option because it is pretty darn difficult for me to pedal a 60 pound bike on the trails with zero help from the motor.

    (2) I figure if I could have at least one pedal assist level put out less power, then I could increase the range of my Z1 by staying in that pedal assist level when feasible (like flat sections on trails)

I think I would like to be able to decrease pedal assist level one by around 50% but I cannot say for sure what the decrease amount would be until I actually try it.

I am not sure if this is even possible, but if it is, I would like to try it and see how it goes. Thank you!
