How to Program BLDC Motor Driver and Change the Speed Limit

    Hello dear all!

I was googling for my BLDC driver and found this forum. Sorry, if this post is inappropriate here.

We have electric scooters in the uni for educational purpose. We want to change speed limits of the BLDC driver below in the pic. It looks like custom for bosch motor but I don't think so.

I found this one and think they are same just different labels. Still I couldn't find any documentation for wiring or software to change speed limit.

I would like to ask you if somebody can help me about that? Is there any document, schematic or diagram for wiring? Is there any software or program to configure the BLDC driver? Any kind of help is appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

    cheers,

Many simple controllers like that one are not programmable. Most of the ones you find on aliexpress also will not have a speed limit; it will simply top out at whatever speed your battery can get you to.

If you are asking how to retrofit with an aftermarket controller, there are guides on endless-sphere for matching the halls wiring and the phase wires. However, we have no way of knowing if the display you have would work for it or even the throttle. I would probably set up a voltage readout for the display and make sure I have a throttle on hand to strip/rewire if necessary.
