    PAS 5 vs 9

I know I can choose to display either 5 or 9 PAS levels. I personally prefer to use the 5 PAS display. The settings within the program have options for the 9 PAS levels and I have set values for each of those 9 levels. My question is, which of those 9 settings are being utilized when I choose to display only 5 levels? In other words, when I'm in the 5 PAS level display, is level 5 using the values for level 10 in the program (the highest assist mode) or is it using the value for 5? I'm sorry if this question has been asked before, but I couldn't find it. Thanks!

Yes, PAS 1 is always the same nomatter if you use 3, 5, or 9 levels of assist (there is no 10, and 0 is no assist). If you have 5 PAS levels, 5 is the same as 9 and the rest are kind of in between.

      Yes, thank you.
      I said 10 but meant 9....
I suspected it was like you stated. So, approximately speaking, 1 is 1, 2 is 3, 3 is 5, 4 is 7, and 5 is 9. Does that sound reasonable?

I don'the know for sure. There are a bunch of threads speculating on that, maybe among them somewhere is the truth:)

This old thread for instance: https://endless-sphere.com/forums/vi...70301&start=25

I guess it depends too on how your unit is programmed too, as different vendors program the PAS levels differently
