    BBSHD mid drive motors

I was told there is no difference between the 750 watt BBSHD motor and the 1000 BBSHD motor other than programming, it that true?

They are the same motor. The 1000W motor is stamped 750, so it will legal.

Right. And with the max 30A program and a 52V battery, you are easily over 1500W peak power capability for most of your pack's discharge. Even the intended 48V battery will run above that, while over 50V.

The power numbers are pretty subject to definition. Nominal vs. Peak, more or less. To compare motor actual power output capability for a given application, look at controller amps and system voltage. Watts=Amps*volts.

Fabrication is fun! Build something today. Show someone. Let them help. Inspire and share. Spread the desire.
