Electra Townie and Magic Pie 1000 watt front motor

My 3rd build ...Ride 8 miles per day for exercise ...the motor is waaaay overkill ..I use the cruise control button set it at ten MPH then pedal up to 11-12 mph ..Uphill or against the wind no problem ...I have a real bad back and can only stand or walk for 15-20 min at a time ..This bike allows me to get out and exercise a little and enjoy the outdoors ... I have upgraded both tires to flat resistant tires... Click image for larger version

Nice build. Glad to see a front hub install. Just ordered mine for a 2008 Art 24d Townie. What battery did you use? Thanks, Rick

Sorry this took so long to get back to you ... Did you get your bike built ? I'm using a 52 volt ...forgot the amp hour (size) ...it was only a few bucks more than the 48 volt one ...$300 on Amazon ..a Year ? ..Ago ... Did you make a front hub ebike like mine ? Is your front wheel off center ? ...Like Mine .. Works fine ..Looks dumb if you really look at it ...
