After riding her Sondors THIN for a few weeks, my lady asked me to build her a mid-drive. I was happy to oblige.
The build went very smooth, took roughly 4 hours. This is my fourth mid-drive build, so I'm starting to get the hang of it.
Some hangups:
- Had to drill a hole in the battery mount, no problem there.
- Frame is slightly curved, was worried I might have a gap where the battery mount met the frame. As I tightened down the battery mount, it bent to the frame's contour and the battery still fits snug. Problem solved itself!
- Had a scare while test riding the bike - error code 21H flashing on the LCD. Luckily, the issue was that I hadn't installed the speed sensor close enough. Easy google, easy fix.
Big ups to Luna for including a cool box, and everything else I would need to get the job done.
