    Mad goose

Mongoose Dolomite, 120mm conversion. 42T bleckie. Eclipse was out of stock. Used spacers to get optimal chain line on an EPOCH 11-34 8 speed. Stock crank arms fine. Dolphin 52v 13.5ah GA CELLS. Chinese front suspension. NCX Suspension seatpost. Jones Bars. On One Floaters. I know. It's still a Mongoose. Like putting lipstick on a pig. But under 2000 total with change left over. Think I want a 36 or 38 chain ring.

Looks great, how do you like the front suspension forks? I'm looking for something similar for my Mongoose, just to ease the bumps.

I like the fork a lot thus far. Definitely smooth out the ride. Seem sturdy enough. I wouldn't trust them for real aggressive riding. Loving that BBSHD. Only been out with it twice. Wish I had not discovered using the throttle and riding without PAS. Still peddling, but what nice power and acceleration. I love 100% throttle available all the time, and with the new display being able to modulate amp usage when using the throttle. Starting at 80% charge, it eats the battery a lot quicker riding this way, but what the hell. That's why I have a charger! Flame on!

Grab one of the hot 6Ah for s small boost on longer rides. They fit in a cheap little triangle pack.

I am reading many good reports on the Dolomite. No need to apologize for that choice. I am finding that I like using PAS on my BBSHD, but it is nice to use the thumb throttle when I'm at a stop, and the light turns green.

I totally agree. The WOT on the thumb throttle is a huge difference maker on this bike. The grin factor is immense. Having the thumb throttle and the extra power of the BBSHD makes me more comfortable in traffic. Off road is a total blast. Front suspension is huge difference at e-bike speeds, both on and off road

Luna sells the fat bike suspension fork. Was listed under Sonders parts

Further report on the Dolo conversion. Longer wheel base than average. Stable at speed. For a cruiser. Light single track. Forest roads. Beach. This is a great platform. Upgrade it's weak points, and there is no reason to spend any more. If you are going to ride aggressively, then I would not recommend it. Don't think it has great geometry for that anyway. The BBSHD from Luna is Miles
                        above the BBSO2
