    Faster speed and greater range

This simple 10$ fairing reduced my wind resistance by over 20%. 23 watt hours per mile at 30 mph. Top speed is now at least 40 mph. 38 and still accelerating when speedo quit. Bbs02.
re building now that i have a few hundred miles of road testing. Incorporating a 120 watt solar panel. My 160 panel has been charging faster than plug in oem charger.
You may be able to pass the pedal slow bike quickly. But they will pass you when you are waiting for three hour charge on your battery.
Go faster go aero. Go further. Even further and faster go solar.

Did you consider using some thin plexiglass for better for visibility?

My head is well above the fairing. No obstruction of visibility. Besides made a good base for solar panel.
lexan scratches expensive hard to work and flexes to much. After several attempts i chose aluminum for price ability to unibody it for strength rigidity against wind.
Took it off the other day. Did not like it. Not the same more comfort, especially in cold mornings Click image for larger version
