- Not sure of age of bike, 2016?
- BBSO2 from Luna with UPP 13AH battery
- Conversion was fairly simple. Watched a lot of YouTube videos.
- 73mm BB. Couldn't use lock ring but did use locktite.
- Put small piece of rubber between motor and downtube. I didn't want to have it make noise.
- Really reefed the locknut down. I even used a small hammer to tap it tight with the luna tool.
- Wiring is very clean except for battery wires. They are too long. I may clean that up later.
- Wasn't sure what chain ring to use so after checking to make sure it would clear chain stay I went with stock 46T. Bike originally had a 48T as its largest.
- No gear sensor and after riding im unsure if I need one.
- No brake cutout.
- Top speed (per my son) 30 mph.
- After riding it a little I think I can ride in a gear that gives me the speed I want and either use throttle on hills or bump up the PAS.
- Level 1-3 seem adequate for non hilly.
- Plenty of power
- While wires are plug and play I couldn't figure out what extra plug was near BB. Luna quickly answered email telling me it was for gear sensor. A simple wring diagram in box would have been nice but not entirely necessary.
- Stock chain length was perfect. Chainline is slightly toward smaller gears but doesn't seem to affect anything.
- Had to make run to hardware store for some washers to space out motor bracket and for longer screws.
