Where can I buy the cheapest parts to assemble an eBike?

Hello guys

I live in Morocco and would like to build an electric bike (hopefully I can help the shift from gas motorcycles here to ebikes).
the challenge is building the cheapest ebike as I'm in a very low GDP country and the ony way for such bikes to work here is by building it as cheap as possible.
Do you have any recommendation on where I can find cheap parts (not looking for fancy brands)?
I'm so new to this and I'd appreciate any advice or information about the topic of building ebikes.

Well... You may find the parts on bicycles and mostly broken eBikes and study the electrical, electronics, and mechanical skills to build your own.
You'll need tools and a multimeter & access to some broken equipment ( too bad there's plenty of broke ebikes or missing batteries here in US )
Ex: geared hub motors, controllers, controls, wiring, may be adapted if you have power.
You will need a good battery, however because of fire safety and it's the heart of your creation.

It's very practical and would work amazing if I wanted to build one bike, but I was thinking of an approach to just assemble parts in order to resell those ebikes.
for batteries idk why but their shipping overseas seems to get more and more expensive

Aliexpress remains the cheapest I know of for ebike conversion kits.

Probably a rear hub motor kit. This requires the fewest changes to the bike
Grin Technology has an E bike simulator so you can try things out there online.

They're also more hub motor oriented than this forum.
It helps to know more about your riding requirements. Wind, terrain, legal limits, distance, all have an influence. I agree that you may not need anything "fancy". But it's always better to get an established brand to avoid wasting your money having to do things twice. Bafang has a good reputation here. Other hub motor brands IDK.
The more power you need the more the battery will cost. Range, speed, terrain,winds all play into this. If the battery is too small you will have wasted your money. How much pedaling you intend to do matters also. A 350W assisted hybrid will need a lot less than a 1500W MTB
In the US i always advise using an established US vendor who can deal with the Chinese factories directly. But in Morroco I Guess Aliexpress might be it.
